Frank Beard, the only member of Z Z Top who didn’t have a beard, has died at 77. Beard has been ill for some time before he succumbed in hospice care surrounded by family at his ranch home in Richmond, Texas. Z Z Top, who had been carrying on without him, canceled their shows in tribute to Beard. They will continue their tour this weekend in Austin, Texas.
